Frequently asked questions)

  1. Do I have to register and pay the registration fee before submitting my proposal(s) to the event?

ANSWER: It is NOT necessary to register and paying the registration fee before submitting your proposal(s). You can wait the result of the evaluation of your proposal(s) by the International Scientific Committee first and, then, pay the registration fee.

  2. Is there a limit to the number of authors per proposal (either academic paper or paper describing and analyzing a practical experience or a workshop)?

ANSWER: There is NO limit to the number of authors (co-authors) per proposal. However, remember that the same personal name can appear only once or twice on the event program.

  3. As you know, the page limit for extended abstracts is FIVE (or up to 21,000 characters – ARIAL font, size 12, single space). Is it possible to go beyond this limit to include bibliographical references?

ANSWER: It is important to try to write down your proposal within the page limit. However, if you really need an extra space for including the bibliographical references, that is okay. No problem.

  4. Must the workshop proposals follow the same rules as those for paper proposals (including papers that describe and analyze practical experiences)?

ANSWER: Yes. The workshop proposals must follow the same rules as those for paper proposals. The only difference is you do not need to point out a generative theme for workshop proposals.

  5. If the proposal is approved, must all authors and co-authors register in the event and pay its registration fee?

ANSWER: No. If the proposal is approved, the only people who really need to register in the event and pay the registrations fees are those who are going to come to Belo Horizonte and present their papers.
